Can I just say, for the record, that I saw this coming?  I think maybe it was here that I started thinking about it.  Great.  Time to start leaving my cell phone in the break room.  I mean, I’m totally just kidding.  But really, I had no idea there were laws against tracking without prior notice from the employer in only two states.  I didn’t even know such laws existed.  I mentioned previously that the average person doesn’t seem to know too much about what mobile phones can do, and maybe this is another example of that – both from my end and the guy who lost his job’s end.  He says he wasn’t notified, but did he know that mobile phones have GPS devices in them?
